Accessing web mail from our new server

Subject: ‘Accessing web mail from our new server’
A new ‘Mail Server’ has been configured with an anti-spam protection to prevent unnecessary filling up of storage space with unwanted mails or spams.
Mailboxes for all existing users of webel-india.com have been created in the ‘name.surname’ format in the new mail server.
To facilitate access of web mail from the new mailbox, a link named ‘Login to new mailbox’ has been created in the ‘Webel intranet’ page of our corporate website ‘www.webel-india.com’.
A. Following are the steps to access webmail from our ‘new mailbox’:
1. Open our corporate website ‘www.webel-india.com’
2. Go to ‘webel intranet’ page
3. Click the link ‘Login to new mailbox’
4. Type the User Name and Password and click the ‘Login’ button
B. Access to the new mailbox using Outlook Express or other such applications may be made using 220.225.89.10 as the address for IMAP as well as SMTP servers.
All mails addressed to existing users will be available in this mailbox effective 23/04/07.
Provision to access the ‘old mailbox’ from our website will continue till 29/04/07 and all users are requested to take back up of their important mails within this time. A link “Login to the old mailbox’ has been provided in the “Webel intranet’ page of ‘www.webel-india.com’ for this purpose. Users would have to use their old User Name & Password for accessing this mailbox.
Users are requested to contact Sri Samrat Ghosh (Intercom No. 223) of Technical Dept. for their respective User Name and Password for the new mailbox or any related query in the matter.
